Hey we’re Rachel & Scott, and we’re a couple of passionate digital strategists working from Waikato, New Zealand.
Clever Digital (formerly Clever Social) was formed in 2017 when, after a decade spent in marketing and marketing adjacent roles, Rachel had grown weary of working with big marketing agencies and their shady tactics for securing small business clients.

Rachel
Rachel’s passion lies firmly with women-led and family-run businesses. Her goal for every client is to make them feel empowered and able to make digital marketing decisions with confidence.
Rachel designs big-picture digital marketing strategies and considers all the moving parts—and, much to her chagrin, is usually designated tech support when Facebook goes rogue, which it often does.
Scott
Since 2020, Scott has worked closely with our Google Ads clients, managing Google Ad Campaigns, setting client strategy, and training business owners who want to manage their own Google Ad Campaigns in-house.
Scott lives for a bit of strategic bidding, values the customer lifecycle (so he should), and will always remind you of the value of a high intent website visitor.
He also hates it when Google calls him right on dinner time. At least three times a week.
